Primary Department

Ages 6, 7 & 8 - Grades 1, 2 & 3

• One-hour class time beginning at 9:45, and ending at 10:45 a.m. Your child can be taken to their classroom downstairs. You can either pick up your child after class or arrange a meeting place.
• Primary students enjoy Bible stories, craft, and seat work time. They also have the opportunity to have prayer time where students are encouraged to share their prayer requests.
• Special events include a Christmas Program.
• The Summer 2003 quarter lessons will be: Obeying Pleases God; Trusting Pleases God; Being Kind Pleases God (all Old Testament characters). These lessons will help the children learn about Old Testament characters who pleased God; learn God’s ways are best; learn about obeying God even in hard things; know that he can trust God to do what He has promised; desire to please God by being kind to others.
• At the end of each 3-month quarter the children are given a “Quarterly Test” which is used to help re-enforce what the child has learned.
