Pastor Vernon C. Lyons has served the Ashburn Baptist Church as Administrative Pastor since 1951 and has led the church through eight building programs. Pastor Samuel J. Lyons

Samuel J. Lyons joined the ministry staff of Ashburn Baptist Church in 1975. Since then he has served as Youth Director, Director of Evangelism, Young Adult Director, Coordinator of Worship and Music, Minister of Christian Education, and currently serves as the Associate Pastor with primary responsibilities being the oversight of Evangelism, Christian Education and Worship. Mr. Jack Strickland

Minister Jack Strickland has been leading the Chicago campus of the Ashburn Baptist Church since January 1999. A real people-person, he has been preaching, teaching, counseling and shepherding the Chicago membership. His philosophy of ministry is “about people and not about projects”. Antonio Gómez

A graduate of the Rock Bible Institute in Guadalajara Mexico, he has served in the ministry full time since 1991 in various capacities, from Youth Camp Coordinator to Pastor. Antonio arrived with his family to the Ashburn Baptist Church in September 2009 to lead the Hispanic ministry of our church.His wife Anna, also a graduate of the Rock Bible Institute, has served along with him over the years. Andrew Box

Andrew Box (27) joined the ministry staff of Ashburn Baptist on February 1st, 2010. He will be serving as a Pastoral Intern. Serving as "intern" will allow Andrew to gain ministry experience in every aspect of pastoral duties. He and his wife Wendy (25) have been married since April of 2006, have a two year old son named Brandon, and are expecting a little girl, Kherington, due April 1st. [Read more...]
