Why do we have a service on Sunday evening when many churches have canceled that worship hour?

A - ACCEPT His free gift of salvation. "For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

B- BELIEVE that He died for your sins. "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)

C - CONFESS that Jesus is now your Savior. "For with the heart man believes . . . And with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:10)

This is the simple plan of salvation: accepting what Jesus did for you on the cross, believing that He died for YOUR sins, and confessing Him as Lord of YOUR life. What a glorious day when you put sin behind and follow Jesus in simple childlike faith.

What a privilege and blessing it has been to us to have been raised in homes with parents who believe and love our Lord and His Word. Our homes were a place of safety and acceptance. Even when we “messed up”, we were shown love, forgiveness, and then, direction.
