These people are easily identified on our roads and park pathways. There is a special suit, the shoes, the
headband, the water bottle. But no particular destination.

These folk are running away from overweight. Running from high blood pressure, sometimes from dogs or muggers,
but most are trying to run away from poor health, old age and even death.

Ultimately, it will not work, for "man is destined to die" (Hebrews 9:27). All joggers and everybody else will die.

The good news is that the "Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Those who
trust in Jesus Christ will live forever in heaven with Him.
