The Truth

Why all the discussion? Is it a case of, “If you break the rules then change the rules?” what is the meaning of sex?

The “S” stands for Scripture. The Bible is the ultimate sex manual. Since God
created sex by making us “male and female” (Genesis 1:27)
He is the final authority. It is folly to redefine marriage. According to God’s
Word marriage is one man with one woman (Genesis 2:22)
for life (Mark 10:9). Sex education apart from the
Bible is like music without notes. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is
compelled to believe the Bible for Jesus said, “Your Word is true” (John 17:17).

The letter “E” stands for enjoyment which is endangered by the misuse and
abuse of sex. Only sinful sex is shameful. The Bible says, “Marriage should be
honored by all and the marriage bed kept pure,” (Hebrews 13:4).

One entire Bible Book, the Song of Solomon, is devoted to marriage and sex. It is the story of a pure country girl who refused to become part of the king’s harem, preferring to be properly married to her country lover. She turned her back on the wealth and glitz of the palace to live in a humble cottage in a God-blessed marriage.

As the application of the laws of aerodynamics help give you a save and enjoyable flight, so the Bible rules on sex do not hinder, but help give truly safe and enjoyable sex. Millions suffering from sexually transmitted diseases are not enjoying sex. The only safe sex is for a young man and young woman to marry as virgins and to confine their sexual activity to that marriage. The 31 venereal diseases, including incurable herpes and fatal AIDS, are the self-inflicted plague upon those who rejected God’s plan.

The “X” stands for the list of deviations and perversions which must be crossed out if we are to live the normal and pleasurable lives that God intended. Those activities to be “x”ed include, but are not limited to the following:

Never have we had so much open talk about sex and so much sex education yet we have more teen pregnancies, more abortions, more venereal disease. The problem is not educational but spiritual. It is not medical but moral. The precepts of God are given to protect our health and preserve our sanity.

Words of Wisdom

“Everything which is born of God is truly no shadowy work, but a true life work. God will not bring forth a dead fruit, a lifeless and powerless work, but a living, new man must be born from the living God.”

Johann Arndt , 1555-1621
