Sunday Mornings

  • Spanish service- 1130am

ORLAND PARK

  • Small Groups- 945am (Find A Group)
  • English service- 1100am 
  • Arabic service– 100pm

Sunday Evenings- NO SERVICES.

We will continue with our current schedule of no evening services on Sunday.

Midweek Services-

CHICAGO

  • Spanish service- Midweek at 700pm
  • English service- Small Groups at 700pm

ORLAND PARK

  • Midweek- Wednesday at 700pm
  • Elevate Students- Wednesday at 700pm
  • AWANA- Wednesday at 700pm

All services will continue to be offered online at www.ashburn.live or Facebook Live. Small Groups will also continue to offer Zoom for those who prefer to connect online still.

Ministries & Guidelines

Ministries and amenities will be modified and available in accordance with CDC guidance. in incremental steps. Parents, please note student and children ministry changes for Phase 2.

Small Groups

  • Small Groups will move to Sundays at 945am with specific criteria. A schedule will be provided.

Elevate Students

  • Elevate Students will meet on Wednesdays at 7pm with specific guidelines that will be provided.

Nurseries & Children

  • Nurseries- Nurseries will be available Sundays at 945am, 11am and Wednesdays at 7pm with specific guidelines that will be provided.
  • ABC Kids ABC Kids ministry will move to Sundays at 945am with specific criteria.with specific guidelines that will be provided.
  • AWANA AWANA will begin to meet on Wednesdays at 630pm with specific guidelines that will be provided.

COVID Guidelines

  • Temperatures will be checked upon arrival. If you have a temperature you will be asked to go home for the safety of others. If you feel sick please stay home.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be easily accessible.
  • Masks are still mandatory for ages 5+ and must be worn to enter the facility. Please bring your own mask. If you do not have one, they will be supplied at the entrance. (Once you are seated you may remove your mask. Once you stand to leave, you must place your mask on again.)
  • There is to be no congregating in the hallways. You may fellowship outside under the overhang.

  • We will continue to abide by any recommendations from CDC and State of Illinois guidance.

GUIDELINES FOR REOPENING SAFELY

We will follow a timeline in accordance with CDC, Illinois, & Orland Park guidelines.

  • Our plan includes 3 phases of re-opening in accordance with CDC, White House, Illinois, and Orland Park guidelines.
  • We understand that this will be a long and gradual process with factors such as safety and awareness of current circumstances.
  • We will evaluate our guidelines and attendance policy monthly or sooner if merited.
  • An email will be sent outlining the process and steps we will be taking.

Regarding senior citizens & those with underlying health conditions.

  • Because of the dangers related to COVID-19, we are asking all members age 65 and older and members of all ages who have underlying health conditions such as breathing conditions, cancer treatments, suppressed immune systems, etc, to please stay home and continue worshipping via livestream during Phase I of our return.

Preparation for reopening our facilities.

  • Sanitizing facilities– Facilities will be sanitized before and after every service using CDC approved disinfectants.
  • Amenities– Restrooms and water fountains will be accessible based on the Phase criteria.
  • Volunteer training– Ushers and volunteers will need to be trained on proper protocol for social distancing. (Parking, Greeters, Ushers)
  • Communicate clearly– Clearly communicate the 3 phases for reopening our facilities to reduce confusion and alleviate concerns.

CRITERIA FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING

DO'S & DON'TS

DO:

  • Be willing to have temperature taken.
  • Wear a mask (Ages 5+, Phases 1 & 2)
  • Wash hands before and after the services.
  • Stay 6 feet from others.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Use hand sanitizer stations frequently

DON’T:

  • Shake hands.
  • Hug others
  • Come to church if you are sick.
  • Touch your face, nose, or mouth.
  • Leave trash in the auditorium.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each service. *Online preregistration is required for Orland Park English services in Phase 1-2.
  • Volunteers will take your temperature, using a no-contact thermometer, upon entering the building. If you have a temperature, you will not be admitted for the safety of others.
  • No one should plan to attend services who is known to have had any contact with known COVID-19 confirmed case, or is exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Attenders are asked to wear a mask until further notice and to maintain six feet of distance when speaking to one another. Masks are available for those who have forgotten to bring one.
  • No one will be permitted into the auditorium without a mask. Adults and children age 5 and older will need masks.
  • There should be no gatherings at doorways or in the foyer. Please promptly exit.

ATTENDERS

  • No one should plan to attend services who is known to have had any contact with known COVID-19 confirmed case.
  • Attenders are asked to wear a mask until further notice and to maintain six feet of distance when speaking to one another.
  • Masks are available for those who have forgotten to bring one.
  • No one will be permitted into the auditorium without a mask.
  • Adults and children age 5 and older will need masks.
  • Offering plates will not be passed during the services. Secure receptacles (see appendix) will be available in the auditorium for you to drop your offering, or you are encouraged to use online giving.
  • The auditorium will be cleared at the end of each service and will remain closed until fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of the next service.

VOLUNTEERS

  • Volunteers will wear gloves and masks and will maintain social distancing of six feet at all times from the time we drive onto the property and exit our car until the time we get back into our cars after the service.
  • Auditorium doors will be propped open to avoid the touching of door handles.
  • Ushers will seat attenders before the services. Families will sit together. There will be at least 6 feet between families.
  • We will sit every other row, and staggered in the rows. Distancing will be kept in all directions—front, back, left, and right.
  • At the end of the services, ushers will dismiss attenders in a controlled orderly manner maintaining social distancing. Ushers may need to direct people to a specific exit door. There will be no gatherings at doorways, hallways, or foyer.
