We need to move into the 21st century.
We know more than we did in 1973 when Roe v. Wade was handed down. Now hospitals are preserving the lives of infants weighing only 1 lb. We know babies feel pain because the nervous system begins to develop 23 days after conception. Because of ultra sound, we know and see what is in the womb is not just “tissue”.
“Pro-choice” is anti-choice for the baby. “Pro-choice” is not in any of the founding documents of our country, but “right to life” is explicit. In our time, when we are paying so much attention to everybody’s “right”, if the right to life is denied, then all the others are a mockery.
Could it be that among the 56 million murdered babies, there was someone who would have found the cure for cancer? Or someone who would have balanced our federal budget? Since 1973, we have slaughtered enough taxpayers to rescue our plagued Social Security system.
The issue is the value of human life. Today, it’s the babies — Tomorrow it will be the old people! Either you are pro-life or you are pro-death.
